TMJ Wishlist

Since TMJ has been moved to the 3DS browser, what are you hoping to see in the way of MMO standards and gameplay?

It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.

I'm hoping for pubs. Pubs and minigames to fill them. And milk. Lotsa milk to drink in the pubs. :D

@KingOfKingz TMJ has been moved to the 3DS Browser, which is apparently significantly more powerful than the DSI', so it will likely not work on it.

• Treasure hunting - following successive clues to get to a (random?) treasure of some sort

• Marketplace - allows selling/buying of acquired items to shops or real players

• PvP tournaments - straightforward knockout matches to determine a PvP champion

• Effectiveness system - strengths/weaknesses among the various combat classes

• Recordkeeper - NPC who allows players to access old cutscenes

• Hiscores - players ranked by amount of XP, level of progression, etc.

• Trophies - special one-time rewards for completing certain difficult tasks

Additional gameplay, design: creatures for combat or transportation, customizable character appearance (PSO), ability points

Interface: mini map, chatbox, inventory/stat/ability/party(?) icons, HP-MP-status indicators, Twiiter feed?

um, lim, this is for the 3ds browser which most of the stuff you said wont fit on the two screens all at the same time. hp, mp,exp, and part on screen i think. and for it to work on dsi i dont care if it lags either

I'd really like to see a marketplace of sorts, in which you could buy, sell, and trade around armor, weapons, runes and such.

@link284 I was mainly referring to icons, small images representing different things. It's a wishlist more than anything else. And the full release of TMJ will not happen on DSi.

@KingOfKingz This is 3DSPaint and WiiOperaSDK as much as it is DSiPaint. The sister sites share much of their content.

A few more random ideas:
• Carnival/Circus - playable minigames, prizes, and highscores
• Bounty Hunting - defeating someone for cash
• Special Events - seasonal/regular or not, festivities to enhance gameplay for the day
• sidequests
• additional classes
• tutorial mode

Some things I'd like to see included:

-A decent implementation of the standard clan/guild system.
-To add on to the above, s clan/guild common room/area. Needs to be regulated so as to keep the number of these under control.
-Go questing with a small party (5 users?)
-Maybe branching skill paths. Might be a bit too difficult to do...

i dont care if it doesnt work for dsi, hullbreach said that it SHOULD work for all other systems anyway. plus im getting a 3ds on christmas

We should be able to set contracts and the rewards have to come out of the guy who set them.

Guild Vs Guild matches (They can be any number against any number as long as they are the same.)

It should intergrate with profiles so everyone can see your TMJ accomplishments.

Finally, you could set up 'businesses' which are like guilds but instead you can like sell items at your own prices. You can choose to place the business anywhere that has a sign. You can even buy out other businesses including NPC shops although they always disagree if they are the last NPC shop in an area.

It's too bad the "www.themysticaljourney.com" domain is already owned, but it'd be nice if HullBreach got a subdomain going so that everyone could have TMJ profile logs/record-sheets.

Oh no, NPC shops always have had and always will have monopolies in traditional RPGs. We should be grateful they even buy the stuff we don't want. :o
