Nintendo has alwaysdominated the handheld console market. Always. Part of the reason for that had to do with the price (which could end up being negated this generation since the wifi-only Vita model is the same price as their 3DS), but it was mostly due to their consoles' battery life. The vita's sheer power will kill the battery life in comparison to the 3DS, which already has a sub-par battery life, so Sony may still lose this generation (if you go by sales numbers) to Nintendo.
Another thing, the more powerful a console is, the tendency for development costs to skyrocket increases as well. So, because the 3DS is moderately powerful, and the Vita much more so, Nintendo may win with 3rd Parties who haven't the budget to use on expensive game development.
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
A new game Panopticon, or Freedom Wars is supposed to come out for the Vita. The trailer looks pretty awesome, love the anime style it has going on for it.
The Vita is getting a price drop to $199. Also they showed cross play beteen the PS4 and the Vit at Gamescon. They were playing Assassins Creed 4 on the PS4 then it went to the Vita and they played it prettt smoothly. Oh, they also annunced Borderlands 2 is comming to the Vita (actuall vita game).

The Vita T.V is more than just something to play your Vita on. You can use it to remote play your PS4 on other T.V's in the house. So if you hooked you PS4 up to your living room, you could hook your Vita T.V up to your bedroom T.V and play your PS4 in your bedroom.
