My forum system.

Hi i made a forum system. yay me.

Now you probobly dont believe me so heres the link to view the forum.

theres no installation page casue i dont know how to make one so you have to enter in all the mysql info yourself and setup the connect.php page to connect to your db but it works.

you also have to edit the account you make in phpmyadmin to make it admin.

If some of you guys want to make an installation script for it then please do if you wish. You can upload the install download link in the forum. Just make a new topic in the test catagory.

yes. With a tut on how to make a basic forum.


ill be scripting a basic MYSQL installer to make it easier to install, i have the files on my ds site to make one.

if it works then ill be trying to add some more options like admin,mod and user cp's, profiles etc.

The forum themes will be different than most, based on css for its themes.

The next post will be with the new forum script, the one with the installer.

OK....its a basic thing anyway Moro can you tell me how to fix someone from hacking it?

cant find anything on Google for adding security to my forum software so they don't get hacked.

yes lol but this is a basic forum script very easy all thats there is a create catagory and topic with a signout,sigin and register page.

with reply script thats about it so im trying to use this to make a good one because its too hard for me to edit a premade script like SMF and also i dont wanna get into trouble for copyrighting or even editing some body el's script since they WILL check the scripting and see that its theres.

and what page would i insert this script?? mysql_real_escape_string();
