New Badge: Groups?

I was thinking of a new idea for a badge, and maybe because the use of the groups section is lacking, we could have a groups badge, for posting in groups, that way the people who are aiming to get loads of badges would take part in groups more. And it could become a more active section.
Any thoughts?

So it be a badge for how many shouts you do in the groups? That would kinda increase the chatting within the groups, and spam more peoples alerts. Because everyone will be trying to get the gold star group badge.

Hm, I think that it'd be a much better idea to tie any Groups Badge to the number of members in the group. Encourages more openness with invites and won't cause alert spam.

It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.

A Group Badge? Sounds convincing since there hasn't been a new badge in a while.

I think it is a bad idea because it floods people's alert boxes. a badge based off of groups might be hard to make without making something that will become a pest to others

TacoRocco- A badge based on groups wouldn't be too hard, look at Skittles idea. That would quite exceptionally work.

i know about skittle's idea, but that is alsoannoying because you will start seeing chats flooded with group advertisements

Eventually their will be badges for everything so i guess we'll have to be patient

hallianne, that's also not a good idea. People can cheat so easily that wa by making a bunch of groups

I like Halli's idea. However, to fix Taco's problem, it could be made so only groups that aren't yours count toward the badge.

Panda Hero & Twinkle- How about instead of a group badge based on shouting just look at Hallianne's suggestion for the badge. It will work as it'll depend on how many groups your in and you can't spam or anything to get into a group now can you?

Also even if you have to wait till someone post something, you still can chat within the groups as you post a comment saying 'hi' they post 'hi' you post 'how aare you?'etc.

Eh, Halli's idea is meh. Personally, I think a Group Badge should be based on the Population of such a group. Not everyone Chats in each Group, The PKMN Challenge has over 100 Members, and only 10 of us actively use it. It only affects the Owner of the Group, the Badge, so it's for bragging rights, really.

Its 50/50 for me because Taco is right it well be to much spaming in the group alert box but it would be cool to make your own group badge like design it yourself with your own pic and name and other can join it that way you'll know who's in which group better and faster but it will be a bad idea to beacuse some people would just make a group to get one and it wont have noo offical groups...hmmmm.......
