iPhone Survey

Just a quick poll for everyone...

Savant and I recently got iPhones to replace our old cell phones. After seeing the power of the web browser, how many members would like to see an iPhone version of DSiPaint.com?

Due to the smaller screen size, the chatrooms would have to be rearranged some. The DSiPaint app would not be possible without the stylus, so it would be scrapped. Blogs, BBs, and several other features could be made with larger text for easier reading.

It wouldn't slow development time to DSipaint.com or WiiOperaSDK. Once it get everything in place, updates would be simultaneous with file uploads. I think I may make it an account setting to go on iPhone mode.

Back to the topic, I thnk it would work but things like site suggestions in the BB wouldn't be consistent for both sites.

Well, but it wouldnt be Dsi paint anymore and not many people go on dsi paint on there iphones and not many people have them

TNZ, it's awful to look at it on the iPod. All of the constant zooming in and out.

I have some of the website formatted for the iPhone now. Many features are DSi-specific, so I haven't formatted them. Here are the addresses for turning on an off iPhone formatting:

By default, it is false, meaning DSi formatting. All that really changes is the width expanded from 240px to 320px, and text and icons increase in size.
