Well, buying pets from pet stores, therefore supporting puppy mills, could be considered cruelty.

"Owning" a pet in itself is 'animal cruelty', if I were that insane, anyway.

One thing I hate is when people act as if a Goldfish is as smart as a human. I'm exaggerating, but my point is, the act as if we're all equals. However, humans won't let an 'equal' thrive. Just our nature.

Yeah.. I hate it when people think their dog, for example, is like a person, and that animals feel all the different emotions we do, and basically that they're like people in dog, cat, etc. bodies I also hate it when "animal lovers", or anybody for that matter, gets their body parts wrong.. Like when they call their front legs "arms".. or their chops "lips", etc. Or that non-human animals can "cry" (As in tears falling from their eyes because of sadness/fear/etc)

I judt thought of something.. what if somebody hated cats? I know quite a few people who don't like cats, so the sea kitten thing would have no effect on them..

Oh "Jesus", the "Crying" excuse. -.- As far as I know, my cat's eyes only tear up when it's very hot in the house, I guess his eyes dry up, and the 'tears' serve the same basic function. -.-

It's horrible, half the things that happen to animals are sad but disturbing. I wish there was a law so us as an earth can put this to an end.

No, that's not proof they feel emotions like humans do, it's proof they feel pain, which I'm pretty sure we already knew >.> Stop pretending that they're just like us. I like animals as much as the next person, but I can understand that they aren't like humans. Their brains aren't the same as ours and in a lot of cases are smaller, or don't have the right parts to interpret things the way we do.

And I doubt EVERY circus starves, beats and burns their animals, if they did you'd see burn marks, their ribs, and wounds on them. And that would be bad for business. Plus it would probably make them all cowardly looking which would look awkward in a performance. So I highly doubt most circuses abuse their animals.

Also, about "seeing them as a form of entertainment" when I watch discovery channel, I'm entertained, is that bad?

Animal cruelty is something I wish to stand up for, I feel it's not right at all and not fair to animals. They don't deserve this...they never did. If people abuse them, that's sad, I don't care if they think that humans are more superior or whatever. We share the planet, technically animals are our neighbors. Treat them like they are.
