For most people this should be fairly self-evident, but there is a minority who time and time again create threads of extremely poor quality. So, for all of the aforementioned, here is a brief reference to ensure it doesn't happen again.
Thread Title 1. Make sure that your title, and the rest of your thread for that matter, is well punctuated and is devoid of all spelling mistakes (Use a spell-checker if you have to) Its very off-putting when you see a thread titled "best gAme tHat you evA seen"
2. Keep the thread name short and snappy It should be as brief an outline as possible.
3. ALWAYS check to see if there have been threads already posted with the same, or a similar, title as yours. If they're have been, do not create another as there is a good chance it will be locked. (Original ideas people!) There is a "search box" on the BB main page to check this.
Thread description 1. Sounds obvious, but I've seen it. Do create a description to your thread! Otherwise we don't know what its about, and the chances are it will be locked as soon as a blog scrubber spots it.
2. Make your description as detailed as possible, just to ensure members reading it don't get confused, and can reply to the thread in confidence instead of with "Whaaaaaaaat? 0.o"
3. Once again try to make sure your spelling is immpecable, within the thread description, and has good grammar, punctuation throughout.
General 1. Don't create threads saying how awesome you are! (No one cares)
2 Don't create threads saying "That stupid admin banned me!" or any complaints similar to that.
3. Dont create threads purely for spamming. It will be locked, and posts within a locked thread do not count towards the "awesomeness level"
4. Don't create threads just to slander a fellow SDK member.
5. Don't create threads in the wrong Bulletin board area! (e.g. A thread about Mario in "Affiliate websites")
