The game is expected to come out August 15, 2011! If this rumor is true then we should be expecting the game very true! Nintendo hasn't spilled and info yet, and its either because they are working hard and trying to get it done. Or they are lazy and are getting nowhere. By now its really unclear!
Overall, the game visually looks great. And the lush, whimsical game environment is mainly what draws me into Animal Crossing. The level of design is said to exceed that of City Folk's, so obviously this should be far more than a portable extension of CF. I'm thinking the 3D will make gameplay that much more immersing, not to mention cooler. From the official trailer, I believe a wider range of exploration will be available as well. And while I do agree with many other fans that the player character design is poor, it's little more than a peeve, and I personally don't mind enough to hate it.
Let's hope this game is as addicting as its predecessors. =)
just watched both of the 3D trailers. at first i thought your first home would be a tent but in the second 3D trailer it shows that you tell tom where to build your house at the start of the trailer. if this is true then whats the deal with the tent, do you use it to live in other peoples towns or could you be able to change the look of your house
