My game would let you choose your path as a trainer, for example, Go challenge the gyms & elite 4; join team rocket/aqua/magma/etc.; y'know, Choose your path.
I like the idea of a game with all the regions and you start fresh each region. it has everything that a pokemon game needs pokemon from every region, and enough badges to keep you busy for a long time. Yes, it may seem repetitive at first, "choose your starter" when entering a new region but it has all the regions. and when you finish a league you can use your old pokemon in that region. It's great for the trainer like me that says "my current pokemon are great but I'd like a reason to train new ones to keep the game fresh."
I love how the internet is its own fantasy adventure novel. Person A seeks guidance and the Trolls devour him.
