You mean the threads that you view on the first page but can't reply 'cause now comment box? It's codeing of which i'm not going to say that you can use to stop further commenting/posting, similiar to a lock but the thread wont go to the back of the list.

I know, it's extremely annoying. People use it as an alternative to locking threads since normal users no longer are able to.

i was given permission from the admins to lock the comments. it is a way of telling you guys to stop posting spam/dupe threads because I might lock them. But I lock very few threads, im picky when it comes to coding.

I know at least one user and admin who are using it. I also know how to fix it, as long as it isn't done on the first page.

Craig- In order to disable it, the CSS codes all togther will have to be disabled on the BB's. Even so there's more then one code of which that can be used to destroy threads. There's only 1 to disable the comment box, 1 to disable comments from being visable, and 2 to delete the threads so to speak.
