'On Vacation' - New feature

Since people most likely wont view your profile more then they already do, then how about once you set that you are or you will soon be on vacation that it will automatically send a message to everyone you have added. since the people you added are most likely the ones that you will want to know about this instance.

I understand do you mean like...my suggesting:If you're going on vacation you write a message to all your fellow friends by mail then they'll know.

I can't get any more clear then my post has been, it's a automatic message sent via mail (when you set that you're on vacation in profile settings) to everyone you have added stating something like "I'm now on vacation."
In result they are the people you most likely want to know, and by this they will know.

Don't argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Yeah. I think it would be useful. Being able to just write you're on vacation or personally tell others wouldn't make it any less useful. It would be much more convenient for the person going on vacation, although I suppose it could be a bit annoying if everyone you added was mailed. The people being informed could be bothered by it if they've added a lot of people. Maybe it should be paired with a function to switch off being mailed that specific notice.
