Middle School Advice?

Forget middle school... wait 'till highschool :*

Try not to get involved in drama, everybody in middle school loves drama for some reason ;P Also, everybody says this, I know, but it's true, and I can't stress this enough, but BE YOURSELF, don't try to be a prep, if you're not, just to be popular. Don't try to be emo or scene or whatever just because somebody else is, don't act like somebody you aren't. Try to pay attention, and not goof off too much.. I'm going into grade 10, and in my opinion, high school is berter than middle school, so far xP. Middle school was probably the worst years of my life, but that's only because I got caught up with these people who loved to start rumours and drama, then I tried to be somebody I wasn't, then I met my best friend and I could be myself, and I was a lot happier that way. The school work in middle school is usually pretty easy, so take advantage of that while you can, because you get a lot more work in high school.

Just study and do all your homework if you want to pass. Don't get all tied up in bullchizz drama. School work first, fun and friends later.

And I don't know if this is the same with every middle school, but you get a few tests EVERY WEEK. For me, It was normally 7-9. So pace yourself. Make a study schedule or something.
But the homework and classwork is pretty easy. I found it easier than elementary work.

In math, you're most likely going to start learning algebra. It's easy if you remember the order of operations:

P= Parenthesis
E= Exponents
M/D= Multiplication/ Division
A/S= Addition/ Subtraction

Everything else you've been learning in school your whole life will pretty much stay consistant. Trust me, DON'T WORRY. Good luck. =)

lay low so you dont get killed. im starting 8th grade and you have no idea what its like to finaly be at the top. im glad i switched to private. wont get beat up anymore.

In 6th grade, don't get used to the teachers giving you the extra help. Learn to be more independant with your work and due dates because in 7th grade, you're on your own. I had to learn the the hard way. Also, use your squedule to your advantage. If you have a study hall before classes, use that to do half your homework from the day before. If you have a study hall near the end of the day, use that to do your homework. Pay attention to the order of the classes and carry all the books you need for the periods so you don't have to stop at your locker alot. Find the shortest route, if your classes are close then take your time. If they're far apart then fast walk. Hope this helps~

Don't start fights, stay out of drugs sex and drama [All of them are more common then you think] and as stated, just be your self, keep grades up and stay invisable.
