Keeping a copy is up to the original owner. And in albums, instead of "No ratings", something like "by [user]" should show below the painting.

All of this could work really nicely with the expected naming, commenting, and possible organising system. A revamp of the paint system is very ambitious, but would add loads of functionality.

That's a great idea! We can exchange are paintings' for points or bucks. I love the sound of that. Before Danny see this, he should make a new admin system to remove inappropriate paintings.

Also, I would perfer to have Savii point/bucks. I think that's too much for Danny to handle. Let's make things a little easy for Danny.

Also, I would suggest this idea of yours should be on the painting application. I don't know if we can make more applications on the main menu of SDK. @Limxzero I would perfer to have the ratings in this idea. But, the only problem is, Danny need's to replace the rating app and set up the "Art Work Shop". I think there will be no point of rating if we already have a rating app.

They know, it's just some users suggested some painting points. I just said, "Savii Points will do fine". That's when they starting agreeing with me. And, they're following your idea too. (:

To buy someone's art and use it for your profile sounds cheap to me.

My dad was an artist, and when his painting were sold, people would stick them up to the wall. Not to show off that they own it now, but to appreciate the drawings of another.

If people would "buy" other's painting here, they would most likely use it as their avatar. And then it looks like I would be a greater artist, because I'm too lame to make my own creation.

No one didn't say we can buy art just so we can use them as avatars. But, I still think that's a great idea. All though, I like to take my own credit. So, I usually use my own art work as my icon. -.0

That would be the best. You see, awesome artists (like me for example ^-^) have been going on other members accounts to draw images to set as icons for them, and with the simple biding, they can buy it, own the image, set it as their icon and aswell a bit of credit like 'This image was drawn by Lottie and bought by AaRoN98'. That would be best. It will stop accounts from being what is 'hacked' after keeping the password after drawing the image. How do I know? My sister who was PikachuGirl did this to The Ram for not drawing images but just fun in eachothers accounts. We should definately have this safe feature put in to make a better DSiPaint future in artists.

Selling it wouldn`t be the issue. Buying would. I mean yeah someone can make a awesome super realistic drawing and sell it, and on the other hand here is some crappy smiley face. Plus, the currency to buy it with couldn`t we just use what we have now..?

Its a good idea! exapt for the currency. as many people said we could just make savii points/bucks the sites main currency. And the users can use the savii slots to rack up those extra points/bucks!
