That's impractical. Trading with others and completing the Pokédex is what makes the other half of the game, along with Battling. Having it all ruins the fun, in my opinion, of hunting down people with XYZ Pokémon that you need to complete your Dex.

Well, B/W updated most things that people wanted... My only regret with it is that some of the new sprites are very... Pixely, like Mewtwo or others...

Rapidash and Crobat have excellent animations, though.

I gave 5G's one chance with another old Yu-Gi-Oh-loving friend of mine who preferred the original. We nearly fell over laughing at the choppy dub-voicing, and the "Syncro" card concept is terrible.

yea, sycro is terrible with weak cards. i do have GX deck and beat the crap out of my lil bro's 5d's deck which has syncro cards. the best card in my deck is five times stronger than his best sycro card. pokemon got old, i liked pokemon rumble...the demo at least. but they should just stop the tv series, its horrible now. the main pokemon games get old, its boring once you beat the elite four. pokemon ranger was a good idea at first, but it also gets boring and i wish there was some sort of battle system like the main games

Gangsta, Black and White actually got a perfect 40/40 score from Famitsu Magazine, which has only awarded less than a dozen games overall that score.

First, this is not a question you people need to answer so seriously. There is no answer. I mean wow, some you answer this with such attitude and "Wisdom."
Give me a break.

Here is my opinion.

The TV series died after Hoenn. The games are not half bad. An interview with Tajiri Satoshi (Creator of Pokemon franchise) revealed that there are 1000+ Pokemon. Expect the series to be on for a while, and expect the games to never cease. If anything, the games will probably keep going even after the TV series is completely dead. Why? They make remakes in between generations.

After the Games die, other companies might be given the ability to make spin-offs. You never know... 20 years from now there might even be a Pokemon Shooter.

I think they've got a bit of time before the end. I just think it's going to continue to decline in quality unless someone has some sort of genius idea. The show is terrible now and I hope it ends soon.

Yup im pretty sure pokemon has a long way to go before its over.As for the combining all generations that would just be stupid.The whole "operation"is this: You can get a lot of basic pokemon, but what about the rare or legendaries.Nintendo knows that no one can really "Catch em' all" because in order for that to happen you would need to buy EVERY game and that would cost a lot of money, and they WANT people to buy.I think they should make a generation where people submit pictures of pokemon and those are the pokemon.When nintendo first started out they had over 1000 pokemon and they plan to use all of them one way or another, so why not see other peoples' ideas for the game? i honestly love this game and i dont wanna see it die.They should make another generation with only pre-evolutions, and for some reason they can't evolve, and the trainer must find out why and how to stop it.I also think they should make the pokemon in 3D,so we could see how they look like in real life, and we should also be able to make them dodge like in the shows

That sounds more like the setting for another Ranger game, Tacos.[the pre-evo only idea]

They didn't have 1,000+ from the beginning, obviously. The creator had only a few thought out when the idea was originally called "Capumon", but then created the other 151. Naturally, I'm sure Nintendo & Gamefreak just do designs in the off-season between games.
As for 3D, you're going to need something very powerful to pull that off. The 3DS might be able to do it, but chances are mum.

I mean 3D as in like Pokemon Revolution, were the pokemon look real and at first it was called Pocket Monsters not Capumon and they did have over 1000, that's how the jonto region came out so fast

Um, Originally, the idea was pitched as Capumon. Then, when Shigeru Miyamoto helped the Creator[I forgot his name, damnit,] pitch it to the Nintendo President at the time, they switche to Pocket Monsters. However, to avoid confusion with the popular "Monster in my Pocket" franchise, they decided "Pokémon" would be good.

And again, a real powerful handheld would be needed, and I don't know enough about the 3DS to say if it could do it.

The Johto Region games[Gen II,] came 3 years after. -.- Yeah, "fast". Then Hoenn[Gen III,] another 3 years.[from G/S.] Then Sinnoh[Gen IV,] in '07. And finally, in '10,[Japan, Gen V,] B/W.

So no, there were not 1,000 from the beginning. That'd be silly.

of course they can continue! pokemon is just as awesome as it always has been! anyone who says otherwise is either a: blinded by nostalgia,or b: has only seen the ice cream and garbage pokemon (trust me,theyre not all like this). Also,i think pokemon black/white have the best storyline so far. I think they should keep going! if you think the new games suck,just stop complaining and play the ones you like

The Pokémon designs were rather cool, this Generation.[Bisharp, anyone?]
The only thing I can complain about are the names after Localization. The Japanese names might've been a bit more preferred this time, or at least they could have been a little less literal.[Ducklett, /shudder]

But B/W brought a lot of interesting things to the table, including Random Match-Up[perfect cure for boredom], and the Pokémon Global Link.
