Luigi's Mansion 2: 3DS

I was kind of surprised at the lack of thread for this. :/
Anyway, post your expectations, opinions, and trolling comments on this game here. Just treat it as an official LM2 thread.

All I can say is, FINALLY!

Hmm... While I don't have a 3DS, I do have a GameCube, wanna get the original... But back on subject, Luigi's Mansion 2 seems like it's going to be a solid game. I'm jealous, now that 3DS owners are getting real games. And sequels to existing franchises, too. No offense, numerous N64 remakes, :P

I loved the original. My brother and I played that game to no end for years, beat the normal mode and Hidden Mansion mode many times. :) I'm psyched for the sequel. It's supposed to have numerous new Mansions for you explore and has many new ghost types; they showed a mummy ghost in the trailer. :D

It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.

Luigi's Mansion for GC was very awesome. The sequel looks like it will be anticipating and I'll be looking in to get this.

It misses somehing the GC one had....the GC one was awesome indeed.

I was thinking about getting a 3ds, but this is what really pushed me over the edge. Gamecube had some of the best Nintendo games, and LM was a favorite of mine. I'd love to be able to play the sequel, and this makes me want to buy a Gaecube, plus the original LM just to pass the time xD

Maybe, but the 3DS needs some more good games. LM2 would probably encourage some nostalgic Luigi fans to buy the epic 3DS.

I'm really wanting it. I heard the last boss has something to do with being modeled after the first Mansion from the first game.

I kind of thought the same thing, but i got the game anyways.

And i have to say, It was a great idea to have it for the 3ds. It takes control of all the features of the 3ds. It could of been for the WiiU but i think the 3d is better for this game. I would like to see the next one on a home console. (Or both, like the new Super Smash Bros.)

Overall, this was a fun game, with more to do, but the Gamecube one managed to still top it with its wonderful gameplay.
I really hope to see Luigi with the Poltergust in Smash Bros.
