The /me command contains an "is"

The new format for /me is "[user] is [blank]." Why the "is"?

A few of the chatroom commands got changed up, notably "/me", "/away", and the new "/slap" that replaced "/fish". No particular reason.

You can still do fake warnings, just not easy as before with the original "/me" command.
I believe you can use the Avatars in your specials again now. Not particulary sure why they did get taken out in the first place.

Not only "is", but it includes a period at the end.

Really your specials are there for a reason. You can just simply make your special as if it was the original "/me" command.
Other then that, it was pretty much changed to prevent certain abuses of it. If it wasn't the fake alerts and other ways would still be taken advantage of. Though they still can.

Assuming that's the case. I feel that the thing with users sending fake Savii Slots messages is pretty trivial, so in my opinion, it wasn't serious enough to warrant changing the commands. If a fix was really needed, why not just format the game message in a less forgeable way or reduce the customisability of chatroom text?

It used to only be an additional dot at the end of the sentance. It seems that wasn't enough from some immature jokes, so the is would come in handy to prevent it.

This way, I can also type "MaxiMillion is awesome." faster by putting /me awesome. Looks real enough to me.

I really dislike the new /me. It bothers me. If it was because of spamming savii slots, it aint like they are actually winning the bucks or points or whatever. Now that the is is added i see less people using the /me command.
