Sadly, it was just a matter of time. I'm sure that he, his family, and close confidants knew about the terminality of his condition ending soon. It was wise of him to leave his main position at Apple to appoint a successor. Obviously, the company he co-founded will never be the same, but there's no denying his massive past and future entrepreneurial-spirited influence on the consumer electronic market. Best wishes especially to the man's wife and children.

It's a shame that he died at only 56. He had a lot more to offer the world.

He was dying of cancer since 2005, very expectedly. He's better up there anyway.
Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

It`s amazing in technology today. We would probably be no where with out Steve Job`s creations. Well I mean for Apple you know.. And we still use old Mac`s in the classroom.

You guys are acting like he's the only person who did anything at apple. I personally hate apple, but he did other things before apple, I guess.
