Do You Think Savii's Should Have a Background That is YOSHI?!

That is an interestingly...decisive suggestion. But I do hope for 1) more backgrounds, possibly purchasable from the shop, or 2) paintings to be usable for backgrounds. Probably both will not be compatible together, but either have been mentioned and are very possible. For items like Yoshi, however, it is more likely that new backgrounds would be simple patterns rather than mildly-detailed images because what this really is is wallpaper on a very small scale.

Sure, but I think getting paintings as backgrounds should definitely take priority over it.

No. Why a YOSHI background? If that happens, then DSiPaint would be FLOODED with requests for different backgrounds. But there should be more solid-colored backgrounds, and maybe a slider to choose the color background you desire.

I like Lim's idea of making paintings background. I'm no web designer but it doesn't seem that hard considering that you can make your paintings avatars. But then again I've only been on DSiPaint for a little more than 2 years so I don't really know how long it took to make paintings available for avatars.
I don't think we need a Yoshi background because there is already a Mario Smash Bros background. I'm content with the current backgrounds. Besides, you can always put in the coding for your desired background.

genius isn't everything

The difficult part of Saviis + paintings is being able to access any of one's paintings directly through the Savii Creator. Many members have sizable paint collections. Maybe pages to flip through could do the trick.
