I think you have the wrong idea. Every medieval RPG has skill levels, no kill limits, and they obviously have AI guards. Just look at runescape. O WAIT THY MST OV COPED WoW 2.

Any good open world RPG alows you to kill anyone you want. (Like fallout). Skyrim took ideas from fallout seeing as Skyrm was made from the same company as Fallout.

I have been playing Skyrim a lot lately. I've been enjoying it. I'm a Wood Elf. I mainly use Bows. My Sneak, Archery, Light Armor, one Handed, Pick Pocketing, and Lock Picking are all really high at the moment. I've been trying my best to get everything up as high as possible. I have done most of the missions for The Theive's guild, all of them for the Companions, and I'm working on the Dark Brotherhood right now.

I love it when a plan comes together like buttcheeks.

If anything, WoW is copying Elder Scrolls. Elder Scrolls goes all the way back to 1994, and WoW is an MMO and Skyrim is single-player. Even my mom can tell the difference between Skyrim and WoW, and she knows nothing about video games...

Whatever you do, do NOT buy Skyrim for the PS3. If you favor good graphics and mods, go PC. If you want Kinect voice commands and DLC/updates as soon as they come out, get Xbox.

If you go PS3, you won't get any of those things (Dawnguard still hasn't come out on PS3 yet), just a horrible, buggy game.

Probably a ton more, but my brain isn't powerful enough.

Delved into Skyrim for almost a month before succumbing to broken quests and losing track of saves, played a week before learning how to level up and discovering the command console, played three weeks before learning shouts, took days to scale the Greybeards' mountain, still was a level-16 Nord using iron arrows last I checked. Walked the length of the region with overburdened pockets and no mount. The dragons thus far have laughable roasting power. Lydia seemed to be getting adorably clumsier as I progressed. I feel like achieving so little and laughing at my frequent failures is a testament to the game's depth. Was hoping it'd make me hungry for some Oblivion: didn't really. A phenomenal time-consumer, may give it another whirl given summer is well at hand.

Seeking a little advice. Thus far, the only characters I had created have been the typical casual sort that were never carefully planned out. So now, I've been trying to sort out a serious build. The idea being a Breton stealth archer with supplementary one-handed skill and limited magic abilities. Is this specialised enough to be very effective, or is it bordering on all-out hybrid? (Which I want to avoid.) Got a handle on the equipment and perks. But I'm undecided on HMS distribution. I would like to ultimately be at 500/400/200 from levelling alone: not focusing on stamina, and raising magicka to 400 for use of Invisibility without methods of spell cost reduction. Thoughts on this strategy?

A sample enchantment setup to go with the aforementioned hybrid archer or similar builds. These are good to plan out because they can't be done halfway, important for those not wanting to focus constantly on enchanting.

Chest: R-Disease, F-Lightarmor
Hands: F-Onehanded, F-Sneak
Finger: R-Magic, R-Disease
Feet: F-Sneak, F-Onehanded

Melee: Fire Damage, Absorb Health
Bow: Paralyze, Absorb Health

Idea is to pile as much magic resistance on top of the racial ability, then boost disease resistance as it is more common than poison, and finally the prioritised offensive skills. Defense typically comes first for "light" builds, unless you are a seasoned player. I opted to boost sneak rather than employ Muffle. Also, I personally prefer a separate designated weapon for Soul Trapping.

Probably safe to say I've come a long way. A huge chunk of free time last year gave fruit to 3-5 main characters in addition to sprawling ideas for close to 100 more archetypes.
