Legend of Zelda or Mario which do YOU prefer?

these 2 guys in my class go back and forth about this all day and i just wanna bring this to a silence.

id have to say Zelda. the story isnt always exactly the same. and in some of the games, zelda helps you gank the main enemy. also, the game is alot more realistic. Everything has a reason for happening.

mario, i find it boring. all you do is jump on stuff. and whenever bowser dies, he magicly comrs back to life. in OoT, link drasticly weaked ganondorf, then i guess he spent some time recuperating and excaped. i really dont get what bowser was trying to accomplish, but in zelda, he was trying to take over hyrule. because zelda held some power he knew could stop him (i think thats correct.) he captured her. Link came to defeat ganon. zelda mostly helps. and going back to mario, when mario comes in, just to save peach, not mushroom kingdom or whatever its called, he downs bowser, and peach just sits there watching. also in mario. same bullcrap story every time. same bullcrap game style. same bullcrap enemies. I might actualy like mario if he at least got sword or punched things with his fist. /endrant

first off, in dkjr marios animal abuse side came out. plus, who would like a plumber thats so fat he could turn things to nothingness by crushing it under his own body weight. the old games may have been fun, but once 3d mario became boring. zelda, however, is fun to play, 2d AND 3d. also, i hate peach so haveing to save her gets REALLY annoying. and bowsers motivation is to keep peach away from mario because he knows that mario abuses animals.

If everyone who followed their dreams made it, we all would be famous.

I agree they are both great games. However, if I had to choose I'd go with Zelda. There's always so much more to do in Zelda. Plus, I'd rather have a sword than getting a shell or getting a megamushroom.

Kingdom Hea- ahem, I mean Legend of Zelda. I like how there's more to it than killing things, and Mario games also have that but they've never really been that fun. I have to admit though, Mario Kart is one of favorites. Now if there was something like Link Racers or whatever... and Link's WAY hotter than Mario but that doesn't determine a game's greatness

The Legend of Zelda is WAAAAAAYYYYYY better than Mario. Mario isn't even compitition compared to The Zelda franchise. Link, Zelda, Darmani, Majora, Deku King, Deku Princess, The Zoras, The Gorons, Bomchus, Dodongos, Shekiah, Ganondorf, Ganon, Wind Fish, Chu-Chus, etc are way better than Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, Wario, Bowser, Goomba, Koopa, Lakitu, Luma, Rosalina, Metal Mario, Wiggler, Daisy, Dry Bones, Waluigi, etc. Plus you get to battle NEW monsters and use NEW tools and weapons in each Zelda story.
