That's hard to decide because the trainers must properly train their pokemon and have a good stradegy during a battle. However, they can't really do anything without their pokemon. I would have to go with pokemon trainers because they plan out the moves that the pokemon should do and also train their pokemon so that they will be effective in even harder battles. The reason wild pokemon are so easy to beat is because they usually do random moves and have no tactics in battle which is the gives you more reasons why pokemon trainers are more important.

Depends on the pokemon. Mewtwo is better than any trainer, judging from the movies.

pokemon, without pokemon a pokemon trainer is useless. no matter how weak wild pokemon seem to be, you still need at least one pokemon to catch a wild pokemon. before you say safari zone you need a pokemon to win money to participate in this grand event, also a professor always seems to stop people from leaving town without one.

Pokemon. Just look at legendaries they wild but they strong. Plus trainers would just be regular humans without the pokemon.
People sometimes need to break rules to help a friend who hurts.
