Flipnote Hatena is the website, Flipnote Studio is the app. No, it cannot be downloaded from the 3DS's eShop; it's one the few that cannot. Flipnote Memo was announced, but there were concerns regarding young users accessing inappropriate content, so the publishers are hesitating--possibly to improve and make the software more secure.

Shouldn't this be in gaming?

It fits better in 'Gaming' but can work in either because while the Nintendo 3DS is a gaming device, Flipnote Studio really is just an app. It'd be almost like restricting a thread about the iPod Facebook app just because the iPod is also a gaming device.

I know,its so stupid! Theyre forcing us to quit and get the new one when it comes out! As long as its taking for memo to come out,it better:
1. Do something about false reporting (This could easily be done by just not giving green stars for reporting)
2. Let users report things like star contests
3. Be compatible with hatena (if that makes any sense)
Im sure theres other things that should be in memo,but I cant think of anything else right now

Ya, but why is everyone whining over it? If anything, I'd be angry that the 3DS camera doesn't have the distortion and picture frame features.
