A quick question or two from a complete g-tard.

I'm trying to figure out HOW to set my avatar and profile background. When I click my Avatar picture I want and my profile wallpaper I want, I click 'Save'. But nothing happens. My profile and avi are still plain.

I've refreshed a dozen times so far. Any help is appreciated. (Note: Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Wii browsing is a bish.)

Your avatar isn't the default avatar, as I see that it's a painting. o3o However, I'm not sure why your background isn't saving. You may need to clear your cache, though I've no idea how to do so on the Wii Opera Browser. In any case, if you can, try simply getting on one of the sister sites or WiiPaint with another browser or better yet, on a PC.

It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.

Funny thing is, I didn't change my avatar to what it is now. It's not even on my list o.o

Avatar and background are supposed to be set automatically when you choose them, so clicking "save" isn't needed. Also, WiiPaint artwork is inaccessible for avatars right now (been glitchy for a while). But from what I can tell in your case, your art was deleted and it's still set as your av; that causes loopholes here and there. WiiPaint artwork just has trouble showing in general. Backgrounds are mainly working--just in case try changing it on DSiPaint or 3DSPaint. Pretty much all I can say as some parts of the system are shaky at this point.

And one thing I forgot to mention: the default avatars (the blank silhouette and the gaming stuff) are not entirely working right now. So maybe you can try painting something on DSiPaint or 3DSPaint.

I didn't set this as my avatar. I don't know HOW it got there or why. I didn't even paint this. I painted some scene from Metroid.

Now that you mention it, the problem is actually the wrong image getting referenced (maybe due to avs getting tweaked or something). WiiPaint albums are all out of whack right now. I don't know how well DSiPaint and 3DSPaint work on the Internet Channel, but again, try using either/both to make a custom avatar. This is yet another one of the site's little bugs.

Yea, this happened to me

Well, I tried using DSiPaint, and it still didn't work. The image shows up in my album, but I'm still not seeing it. Also, the profile wallpaper STILL isn't showing.

Getting frustrated now.

Once again, DSiPaint has failed me. My avatar still isn't saving, my wallpaper STILL isn't showing up, and to make matters worse, Old Man Jenkins broke into the general store again.

Could someone PLEASE help me out? The above suggestions were all attempted on my part, and none have helped.

If you're still using the Internet Channel and nothing's working, then try using a PC browser.

It doesn't work for me unless I use my dsi. It don't work if I use my wii.
