I love this game...but at the same time I don't, to me, it's to apocalyptic, but don't get me wrong its the greatest side scrolling game out there, for me i would prefer to watch a walkthrough or playthrough than to actually play it.

The harder the fight, the better the prize...well, hopefully.

I was kinda mad when they made it 3D; take a good game and shmooze it up. modern marketing techniques make me sick.

amazing game, although I can't beat hell on normal yet. BUT I have beaten the red ogre NO DAMAGE TAKEN.

How is that sad? The Cave Story soundtrack is the best thing since underwear.

The only difference I care about is the music, and they added that music to Cave Story Plus, which has much more content. The graphics mean NOTHING.

Wow, cant believe cave story is really still so popular, they just made the dsi version, 3D, same 3D pixelated art, but with depth, wow, they cant just make a simple Cave Story 2? Or even Publish WTF Story? The Hacks are better than the game now, just like super mario world, smwcentral beat everyone to romhacking that stuff.

I like this game, but Nicalis is one of the worst publishers in Nintendo's recent history. All they do is make lazy ports. OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

I loved Cave Story on PC, although I never finished it. I just bought it for DSi. It's so much easier to play with proper controls than with a keyboard.
