Hydrogen. Nice. ^_^
Here's one: Algae bio-fuel. It's very easy to grow and yields a lot more than most known sources of bio-fuel. Plus, you have the added benefit of not hurting any cash crops.
Haha if only it were that easy just to cut off all our oil lines... The problem is, everyone's just so used it to it that it's turned into a need for the average worker rather than a want.Ikr :o i mean the thing is... we DONT need it o.O
Nor do we need a few million things we have today, but they are all luxuries that just are best left alone since we're all comfortable already with them. Internet ring a bell? hehinternett just emmits radiation. you mean electricity? XD but ok, who needs cars? walk you lasy ppl o-o also plastics.. most are just wasted o.O ok its useful, strong, durable and self finnished unlike other materials but still! i mean how much plastic packaging do we waste?

Eh yeah. Still, what else can be used is a very good question left for time to answer. ^^
Suburbs and what not where created because the automobile was created. People could live farther from work and make it there the same time it would take to walk if they lifed closer. If people suddenly had to walk everywhere, alot of jobs will be lost (besides all the automobile related jobs) or people would have to move closer to work, which could put a heavy toll on one's financial situation.
Dams, solar power, and windmills are good ways to get electricity, but for stuff like powering cars, it can be a bit weak. We will have to keep using at least some oil. Think about it... An electrical-powered airplane, 20000 feet over sea, in a storm. I do believe I would DAH.

Haha, but Hydrogen can be controlled so it doesnt explode o n contact. If we put it in cars, all we have to do is make sure the cars don't crash, lest the hydrogen acts like a bomb...
yeah, it's going to take some work with that one.xD
