Comunism. Any thoughts?

Encouraged by the government? Where do you live? If you're talking about America, openly supporting Communism is known by the political term "political suicide" and is not recommended.

Also Communism is when the wealth of all the people is equally distributed amongst everyone. It is a form of command economy.

If somebody says "Obamacare is a communist idea", that means that they believe that it leans too much towards Communism, not that Obama is in support of turning the U.S. into a Communist regime. Unless a politician belongs to the Communist Party of America, they most likely do not support Communism. The cold war ended 15-20 years ago and our relations with the remaining Communist nations are very bitter.

Communism and socialism are not one and the same.

Communism is horrible. It involves overtaking the current form of government (or lack therof) using violence. Once it is established, much freedom is taken from the people. Many, many murders also have happened in Communist countries. People are often monitored. Communism is an awful thing.

Socialism is also a radical view, but it doesn't involve violence to establish a socialist government. Hitler was a socialist.

I agree with socialism slightly in respect to consumer co-operatives. The service is better when the only aim of a business is to break even and the profits actually benefit the community.

In the earlier years of the United States in Jamestown, there was a system similar to socialism. It was called the common-store system. This plainly didn't work.

People were to share stored goods which were to be contributed by those same people. It doesn't take a lot of thought to figure out that one could still get things without contributing. The same idea is in socialism and communism. Some people may work, but others may get reward. It's very unjust and unfair.

America is not supporting communism. We fought how many wars because we were trying to stop communism? The cold war was becsuse of communism. Soviet Union trying to spread it through Europe after WW2.

We have alittle communism anyways with things like welfare. I mean yes it is going to the sick and the ones who can't physically work which I think is good but it also is going to people who are just too lazy to get off their asses. They would rather just have another kid and get more welfare

Welfare is not communism but is in the same side of the political spectrum.

Gosh, I do not even know how that guy got into office. Oh wait, I do! Everyone who voted for him was blind. I rspecially like the thing about his birth certificate! It's a big lie. His mother had him at 18 and I believe she got pregnant at 17, RAPE! Hmm, the paper the certificate was written on, was not used back then. Oh yeah, the language used was the wrong time perod. I really think he should have done more research when he made a fake. But, whatever.

No, because Obama isn't a Communist. As I posted earlier, there is a difference between Communism and socialism. His views have tended to be socialistic, though.

That is incorrect. Communism does not prioritize a normal citizen's life. Human life is not considered important by Communist rulers, except that of themselves.

Also, Communist leaders are pro-euthanasia. That certainly is not proper care.

I think that there is a bit of socialism present in welfare, but that's about it. Anyway, the closest relation the U.S. and North Korea had was when Sarah Palin said that we "value our North Korean allies," but that was Sarah Palin.
