Otaku is a japanese term used for someone obsessed with japanese culture, architecture, old traditions, etc. If your gonna use my language, Speak it correctly.
Americans speaking Japanese sounds like a Mexican speaking english to me...
I do not mean that to be offensive, and i'm sorry if it offended you, but you americans ruin every damn language that touches your tounge, then start using their terms like you've spoken it all your life.
Once this country has pissed off enough people, they will team up, and tear it apart.

I hate anime that's been dubbed in English. It's like the voice-actors they find can't act worth sh*t!
I know that was somewhat off-topic, but I had to get that off my chest.

actually otaku just refers to someone with a hobby :B but if used in english it means someone who has an anime related hobby
and that was offensive btw :u
I've spoken that language for thr first 10 years of my life...
The LITERAL term, is someone who has a hobby. How it's used nowadays there, is as what you would call a weeaboo.

Dude, I know what you mean. Dubs are just awful. There are some exceptions though. (Ex. Cowboy Beebop, DB/DBZ, classics, etc.)
