Anime that people NEED to watch to increase their Otaku Knowledge.

So guys, what anime do YOU think is one of those TOP anime people need to watch?

And many other current series down. I need to get into "Clannad" and "Bakemontari" soon. Any ideas of what you guys think is up there?

I don't like short anime. There are way too many short ones. Alot of the ones that coulda been long were cancled. Dgray man was prettynlong but it got cancled before it could be finished. Same with ZatchBell.

I hate anime that's been dubbed in English. It's like the voice-actors they find can't act worth sh*t!

I agree with this guy. I'm asian, so I'm pretty much excluded. But anyways, That point is direct. Americans are destroying what they get their hands on. Look at our current situation. Kids as young as 10-12 doing things 18+ kids do. I'm drifting off-topic. Anyways, that's why I don't watch dubs. Americans calling themselves "otaku" might as well call themselves "weeaboo"

(I know I started this thread, but that was a year ago. After browsing /a/ I've gained composure. Also, get on current season Anime. Watching people live in the past saddens me.)

Dude, I know what you mean. Dubs are just awful. There are some exceptions though. (Ex. Cowboy Beebop, DB/DBZ, classics, etc.)

ok but you can't just blame a WHOLE country for things you don't like :/ And Japan uses words from english (and latin) all the time. I find it hilarious that your attacking one of the most spoken languages in the world and one of the biggest places that speaks it. Also, would you like it if i said “You japs” or “you japanese” or “you asains” etc. I think not. I find it offensive your including every American in your petty frustrations. :L You act like “we americans” don't speak our own dang language. Not evrey anime lover here is a weeaboo -_- I think the only words used are things like tsunami, samurai, and sayonara.

Oh, Hetalia's dub is like one of the only time the dub doesn't screw it up, or is as good/if not better than than the original :]
