Oh my, what'd they do to you?

Well. As you all know, nearly everyone agrees that Pokemon has become increasingly stupid as it gets more and more regions along with more and more Pokemon. There are 500+ now. While that actually could work out if they spent more time on making every Pokemon worth having, they chose to throw a load of random concepts together and make coffin Pokemon (among others). What the hell?

Now I'm not saying Pokemon is stupid. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for seemingly magical animals attacking each other for my amusement and maybe a few simoleons now and then.

What I am instead asking is why do you all think that is, and how can it be fixed?

I'll add my thoughts to this later, but right now I'm exhausted and I'm honestly not sure if any of those sentences were actually sentences. Were those words even words? That letter doesn't look normal. Anyway, what brought this whole little rant up was this.

I think, the problem is a lack of creativity. As shown, they've developed /garbage/ pokemon, among other misfits. I presume the Pokemon creator must've quit or something because all these new Pokemon are the equivilent of giving a dresser a clever name and gluing eyes to it. Granted, these new and easier to understand Pokemon might be gearing us up for a major marketing change. As we all can see, more and more children are joining the Pokemon franchise. Now, I'm not saying it's for little children, but everything seems to be aimed at them, merchandise-wise. Toys, cards, even the television series. All aimed at children with big voices and parents with an even bigger wallet. Lots of kids these days get showered in gifts, with the parent glad to have them out of thier hair for a bit. So, younger children are now becoming the spotlight. And that seems to show that Nintendo might be losing money, or simply hungry for more. Who knows corporate companies these days.

Tl;dr Nintendo is uncreative, kids are brats, and Nintendo wants money.

Ha. All that is true. And it's making older Pokemon fans stop playing or watching, for obvious reasons. On their TV show Ash is just stupid. I've only seen one episode where he was alright, which had the darma-something holding up a bell and he fixed the problem. Fffsss. Beyblade is now a better show that Pokemon. How about that...

I think it's just gonna get worse. o-o I wonder how Pokemon Conquest is or how B/W 2 will be.

Almost all the main characters have little-to-no problem-solving skills whatsoever. The smart stopped around Hoenn, I believe. May and Max were the last of their kind.

Black and White 2 are coming out soo, and I'll probably check it out.

All of those are better than the newer stuff. They're based on animals and thing, obviously. Our main thing is.... It's just not what we're used to and we don't like it.I need a better arguer who understands what I mean to say this for me, but what I am thinking I will continue to say unless there is something better to complain about.

I don't get why everyone is complaining. Sure 5th gen has its share of stupid Pokemon, but it's still just as good as any other generation of Pokemon. You say 5th gen isn't creative, but the others were no better. Just look at 1st gen. It had a pokeball with eyes, a pile of sludge, a purple rat, a purple snake, a plain fish, a Sarah named Seel, a dugong named Dewgong, a red fish, a blue turtle, a lizard with a flaming tail. The list goes on and on.
