Depends on their stats. Magikarp actually has a decent defense stat. And ok speed. So he would probably win, while the strugle battle waged.

Ditto has a chance if in the last battle it changed into another pokemon then went up against magikarp and won

Ditto, because it will copy splash with only half PP (20), meaning it would start using struggle long before Magicarp. I am a freaking genius!

It actually depends on how high the ditto's attack/hp is in comparison to the magikarp. if it can deal more than a 16th of its own hp in damage with struggle per turn it will win in most cases
