W3Schools is a teaching website, it will be good help with website creating. If you want a host that is compatible, Try Wapka, if you want to make a custom site, just end the files with .xhtml instead of .html

All that xHTML is, is a cleaner, more readable (for humans) HTML and one less likely to be interpreted incorrectly by browsers, nothing more.
