Oh, right... Honestly, the whole idea of it taking place during the American Revolution seemed rather ridiculous, especially considering the time periods during which the first two games take place, but the game, itself, looks amazing and might even be better than the first two...

The American Revolution makes totally sense. Maybe you didn't notice, but the games continued in time. 1st. Altair with basic weapens 2nd. Ezio discovered the safer hidden blade and better armor, a hidden lil'gun (Weak and a little buggy). 3th. Upgraded gun and it's the time of the Renaissance (Re-birth of art and architecture) 4th. BOMBS! Hook-blade, Armor, new architecture and friendship of the Istanbul. 5th. Navy, Rifles and America. Ubisoft is following the "most" important parts of History. All ASC Games are written by : Oliver Bowden A.k.a (Anton Gill)

I did not notice, and your explanation didn't help with understanding... Sorry to say it, but I've never played Assassin's Creed... I thought the first game took place during the Middle Ages...

I'll try to explain it... ASC = Middle Ages... ASC 2 = The begin of the Renaisannce.... ASC Brotherhood = At the end of the Renaissance.... ASC Revelations = Gunpowder became even powerfuller... ASC 3 = America discovered...?

It's like the famous years only like The years 0, 1000, 1641, 1940 and 2012 :P

My step mom says that its a little boring at first because you dont get to play connor or who ever the main protaganist is for a while. But since shes moved on a bit in the story she says its really fun.
