I think Mario, I've played more Mario games, but in SSBB it woulld be Link.

They both can have shown high levels of 'badassery', however, Link has been more consistent in this matter.

The harder the fight, the better the prize...well, hopefully.

With all their power-ups/items? Or without? Because I think Mario would win without power-ups/items because of his natural ability to jump, and his powerful kicks and punches.

However, WITH item/power-ups, I think Link would win hands down.

I personally believe that Mario would win either way.

MARIO:

Can throws Fire

Can grow by eating mushrooms

Can survive in space

Can break brick blocks with his head

Can survive in the fridged cold and the boiling hot

Can jump with superhuman height

Can throw Ice

Can scare ghosts just by looking at them

Can breathe underwater

Can do ALL of this without any kind of shield or protection whatsoever
