When the development team finds more continuous and long-term commitment aside from HullBreach diligently cooking up code for periodic demos. Though in light of Demo 8, one has to admit it looks very close to a final game.

Rome wasn't built in a day! Video games take a while to make (well, for me anyway :-E ) So just be patient!

Demo 8 is no where near the final product of the game. If you guys know anything about game production it takes years to get a good game produced. Have patience and stop worrying about it.

Success or failure, at least you tried.

Perhaps, yet an important thing to realise is that one person made and released 10+ demos and teasers over the course of 4 to 5 years. This is not enough critical momentum. The hope that they would keep the populace interested in TMJ was sadly in vain. Sneak peeks of the game are best released while development work is strong or even coming to completion, which has never consistently been the case. While I remain optimistic about the game, a big push from multiple people is needed.

Again, if you read this thread and other similar threads, that is because in 2010, there were more volunteers actually assisting in making this game. Then they all left, and most of the current people on this site are not interested in helping.

I was active here 5 years ago and came back to check today. It looks as if development never really moved an inch. Maybe by a nanometer, but far from anything really. So much can be done in even a month by just one developer with just a few couple hours a day. I just don't think it was really important to him as it was when he started it.
