Well eventually Gay Marraige becomes the norm. Then it will be seen as normal for children to have gay parents. This means that this type of family is acceptable socially and brings society together.

Just the other day gay marriage was pass through the house now on it way to be signed by gover. Which is a big step for the opposite sex and United States of America. When using this board, please be as clear and specific as you can. While it seems you are referring to Illinois getting set to legalise gay marriage, your wording might be misinterpreted as referring to the U.S. Senate and the ENDA bill. For either instance, it would be best to start a new thread.

The Bible states that marriage is meant for a male and female, but many people mistake this for saying that same-sex relationships are forbidden totally. Basically, the Bible says that every Christian should wait until marriage for intimate situations. The Bible basically forbids people of the same gender to have intimate situations under any circumstances. This does not mean that gay people cannot have a relationship, it just means that they cannot do anything that comes with marriage. Now, I think we all know that not very many people follow the wait until marriage rule. So I personally have mixed feelings towards same-sex marriage. The Bible says that we have free will and should treat everyone with the same respect, and if someone else decides to disregard what the Bible says, that's really not my business. As a Christian I should be supportive of them and as should everyone. Sorry for the mini bible study guys.
