The 3DS XL also has hinge differences. The hinges for the top and bottom parts are looser than all the others, because people would complain that their 3DS and DSi's top screen would just break off. This was because the hinges were too tight.

I'm back, I guess. Whatever.

They also moved the 3DS styles to the right side and not the top because people were whining where it was on the DS fat.

I will always be a fan of the original DSi and 3DS. All the Ls are to me... is bigger. That's literally their only difference to me.

I've seen a DSI XL, and agree that XLs are bigger for making animations and drawings. But I like my original 3DS for the portability.
