I kind of agree that $30 is a little steep for a used and aged DS game, but if the condition is fine, it's not a waste. Unless you are averse to simulated life in a small town filled with animals, that is. The essence of Animal Crossing games is that you are free to do mostly whatever you please; there's nothing you're "supposed" to do (except that short job in the very beginning). There are simply various activities to take part in.
