How do you think SDK's community can be revitalized?

Any ideas? NXPaint? More tailored to modern day?

One way is by attempting to socialize, or do something noteworthy. Write a blog, comment on profiles. Everything you do is added content to the site.

Us users have the tools at our disposal to bring people back in, but it won't be overnight. We must do it slowly.


That being said, there are things that need to be done officially but I don't see any of that getting done at this point. There's no demand for new features and not very much traffick ):

Oh, and the email system might still be broken. That's very important. Someone should check and see if it's fixed or not.

Update the site layout first. It looks tooooo old/outdated.
Bring some events like distribution of pokemons. I know a few forums who did this and it crawled with new users.

I agree with this. Nowadays, sites and apps are getting much nicer UI elements. It's time for SDK to catch up!

Honestly probably complete modernization

Make this into a pretty app where it's built upon the backbone of this great structure we've got here

Lots of things started out as other things and now are completely different, facebook was meant to be some weird site for rating college girls or something like that wasn't it


We could still be about Nintendo and have many of the same themes and features but we could prioritize the ones that worked well

I'm really into weirdbook and those got popular by having great communities, which we have, even if people need to be reminded

I know this is a hollow reply that adds almost nothing to the conversation but I'm the person who motivates someone else to come to the right idea

Yeah i agree with modernisation. Using the 3DS/DSi Browser is a thing of the past people tend to use mobile devices now.
