The walking dead and Harry Potter games also from Niantic are not even as close as good compared to pokemon go. It just has this bright charm to it.

Pokemon Go is good in the aspect of it fulfills it's purpose as a mobile game. It is something to feed your attention for a few minutes while you are waiting for something. It's great when you live in an area with a lot of pokestops. I keep it on my phone and go on it when I am waiting for things. For example, when the restaurant we are going to has a 15 minute wait for a table. Might as well whip out your phone and do pokemon go for a few minutes.

You don't need to add pokemon home - I've never transferred my pokemon out of pokemon go into the switch games. Just don't care to. Pokemon go is the dumb game I play when waiting for a bus or at a doctors appointment. I don't keep a lot of mobile games on my phone because most are cesspools full of advertising.
