SMG2 was indeed intended for older audiences, because it was supposed to be harder. I personally like the game, becaus there are so many new and original concepts. but what I don't like about it is there aren't as many missions per map as there are in the first game. They made each map shorter but harder basically.
If you say that to me 1 MORE TIME........ Then, you'd be saying it twice.
Mario Galaxy is intended for all ages. Kids have fun with the levels and cartoony design and style. Especially the easy ones. Then casual gamers find it fun to play with friends. Lastly, gamers enjoy the difficult challenge of beating all the stars.
It's 100% ace. People from the casual side, don't like it because it's much harder than the noriginal. I presume Hallianne is a Casual gamer. Nothing wrong with that. But more hardcore gamers will apppreciate its challenge, as it's fun, intuitive, and rarely frusturating.
Oh yeah, it's pretty long too.
