Coming to the DS, at E3. Iit's a remake of an old japenese cell phone game, taking place at the end of KH2. Not much info, but it was revealed on Square's twitter page
Been getting back into Re:coded a bit whilst trying to obtain all the rare prizes, finish the stat matrix, and muscle through each difficulty. Overall, I found the game a far cry better than 358/2. Stages with varied gameplay and slightly improved combat make this one more worthy of praise. The script-tweaking "cheat" system is gimmicky but an interesting touch. As a member of the club who hates on 358/2's airy plot, well, Re:coded's is more pleasant, lacks unnecessary frills, and is fortunately less structured. And actually a nice boon to have Sora himself on DS. Re:coded may have been underwhelming in the boss battle department, but otherwise it is solid.
This is a Command Deck layout I found useful for the final battle.
1 - Cura
2 - Rising Rush
3 - Cura
4 - Aeroga
5 - Cura
6 - Triple Firaga
7 - Cura
Six spells, one physical, no potions. At this point in the game, one should have at least six command slots open. If not, the last can be disregarded. The offense: one strong melee for use when quickly Air Sliding in on target, and two long range spells with good homing. So Raid commands (blade hurl) are a poor choice. The defense: three or four Cura spells. Not Curaga because the time it takes to cast is inefficient when compared with Cura. They are alternated between the offense so as to provide a heal at any given moment.
Not such a bad game. I actually quite enjoyed it though I am a hardcore Kingdom Hearts Fan. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys experiencing the entire KH story.
