It would be cool if we could use our painting avatars in chatrooms. Do you think it's a good idea?

Well, it might be pushing it, but there could be a seperate frame right next to the chatbox for random art to draw.

A PictoChat-type thing? A basic chatroom and a paint app is a lot to handle together, and such would come with a host of issues.

we really hate setting avi's and colors, that's why i like dsiextensions.co.cc because your avi and color is permanently set for the chatrooms (unless you change it) and the creator actually chats with you

Yes, it would be nice if users could set a personal default chat color and av in their Settings.

I believe there's a problem with the picture format and size would make the chatroom lag incredibly..... Or we would've had this by now. An Avatar maker extension to the Paint feature could work...

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? Well, i don't know and I don't care.

I don't know if this is a really good idea but if you really think this is a good idea go to the helpdesk and type in you're request.

This is a good idea but hull said a normal avatar in a chatroom is XXX kb but if you put a painting as an avatar it would be X mb...it would make the chat slow and laggy...
