Actually, I've been getting a bit of lag too. Nothing much, maybe just once every couple of days. My connection isn't faulty, I have a good quality signal.
Lag is inevitable when there are 5000 visits per day, not including the other sites I have on the server. I'll keep optimizing the code for speed and see if it helps. Yet, with the rate of growth, I may need to upgrade the server soon!
I think the main problem is most likely history build-up..If I let more than 3 or 4 pages show up in my history, I get logged out of other sites..I found it is very necessary to delete your history often..
I have only experienced a small lag time, mostly just in loading the main page, because the DSiPaint logo takes a second to load, and I end up tapping it instead of the log-in..
Agreed, DC (@ increased lagginess). My posts are starting to get eaten, which has never happened to me before (8300kb/s Internet win), and I am missing bits of the conversation. But, this is only to be expected. As Hull said, a whole bunch of people visit the site each day, so just a small bit of lag isn't really that bad.
