SoulSilver GTS Problem...?

When I use GTS on my copy of SoulSilver, it works fine except it 'crashes' when it dosent find a Pokemon I was looking for. The screen blacks out for a long period of time with the music playing, and when I close the screens, the music still plays. Any solutions or help?
