You can edit most sites from dsi that uses an FTP account, like 000webhost or x10hosting sites. Just go to net2ftp.com and enter in your details set the skin to mobile or iphone and you can edit your site from your dsi and login. But be warned long scripts can lag or even freeze the browser, having said that I use it for my site (Wintendows.com) all the time and that doesn't happen very often.

yoy can make a website from dsi but it would not have stuff like a login/register page,a chatroom nor apps you have to use phpmyadmin for all of that and you can only connect to phpmyadmin through a computer/laptop/some phones.

yes i made my ds site directly from my ds but all the apps,games,videos,chatroom or chatbox,forums,extensions basically everything is redirected to other sites.other than that i recommend http://taplap.com im switching when i find a new site though.

again 000webhost sucks no phpmyadmin.if u want to make a descent site find a good host that has at least ftp and phpmyadmin.you can access net2ftp on ds as i have and did.for the user (when u made the ftp account)put the name u chose@yoursite.whatever for me its
alex@dsialex.co.cc put ur pass in.it dosnt work if you just put in your site for the ftp.and ALL uploads have to be done on pc.you can only edit the items in your ftp area.

also all the stuff you do must be in /htdocs or no-one can see anything.
