Design a Weapon

Hey everyone, PieBoy, weapon spriter of TMJ here.
As a way of getting the general community involved with production, I am taking weapon requests and idea's on this thread.

To get started:
1. Name your weapon.
2. Name your type of weapon eg. Sword, Bow & Arrow etc.
3. Give a detailed visual description of your weapon.
4. Give an explaination of things like the history, effects, and other details about the weapon.

Hope to hear from you guys.
When I have enough good suggestions I will sprite and upload them. Happy designing!

Name: Mr. Whack
Weapon: Plank with nail through it.
Appearance: It's a plank of wood with a rusty nail through it. Nothing special about it.
History: In the world of Sholt, evil is stirring. The once peaceful nation of Icharhu is in turmoil, civil wars breaking out around every corner. Freak storms, boats disappearing at sea, and loss of contact with the adjacent countries, Vale and Garm, have made everyone terrified of walking out the front door. Highway robbers attack anyone that goes anywhere near the exits of towns. The King and Queen are no-where to be seen. Things get worse. There was once a creature so evil it theatened to wipe out the whole of Sholt. Unthân. He massacred everywhere he went, and it seemed a miracle was needed to stop him.
An ordinary peasant, a man that was known only as 'Z', crafted a weapon out of a plank and a nail. He went on a grueling journey through fire and flame until he found Unthân. Bao struck him and just like that, it was all over. Everything returned to normal. But now it seems, Unthân is waking from his eternal slumber. And this time, Z is no loner around to save the people of Sholt.
Effects: Only the strong of heart and mind can wield this weapon.

Name: Quarterstaff
Type of weapon: Stick
Appearance: A straight wooden stick, about two metres in length. Emits a faint yellow glow.
History: Hehe, this stuff is fun to write =) Whilst the Crusades were going on in Medieval Europe, another battle behind the scenes was being fought, known as the 'Legacies'. Instead of fighting over lnd, these battles were over a stick. A quarterstaff to be precise. The Church beleived that the Quarterstaff was special, and that it contained the answers to life. The Quarterstaff was never found.
Effects: Very lightweight, cuts through the air easily.

type:two hand sword
effect:dark powers eminate from the blade...
history: in the epic battle between Endo and Endark, Endark pulled out this sword in hopes of defeating his goody two shoes brother. the sword was crafted by the finest blacksmiths, and was infussed with dark energy by a man called Halston. Any person who wields this great sword must have evil in their heart.
appearence:a purplish wide sword with <- handle(only the striaght and v part are connected) and a dark streak through the middle of the blade.

name:Hisher
type: katana
effect: gives speed increase, possible poisining,increased power when fought against The Isthou.
history: while Endark pulled out his signature Isthou, Endo pulled out the Hisher. Originating in 2076, a young ninja found a strange chemical in the house of Kõu, and stole it. Later tripping on a rock, the chemical and his katana mixed to form a lightweight but green blade. Passed down through the Potsen generation, it has arrived in Endo's hands. He has won many battles with it, and plans to present it to his little brother when he comes of age.
appearence: a katana with a greenish color in its blade. the handle is blue with flyaway cloth.

The Isthou is a definite but I can't implement the Hisher. TMJ is set in Europe, they don't know about asian weapons such as the katata.

No hero, but I'll need a new name. I'll translate it into icelandic.

Would this idea be good?
Name: Spherebender
Type: sphere (you can use the movement of your hands to control it touch-free)
History: This mysterious sphere was discovered around the mine after the meteor incident. The minerals appear to be controllable without touching them. Its origins are unknown.
Effect: It seems to be compatible for combination with other minerals to obtain special effects like elemental attributes. Magic wielders get extra attack bonuses by equipping this.
Look: a fist-sized sphere with a smoothed-rock appearance.

History: A pie in the face is the global image for humor.
Effects: -1 To moral.
The name for the plank: Hynlur

We need more posts! If your weapon is serious enough, it will most likely be implemented into TMJ. If it's more of a joke then maybe I could convince Hull to implement it as an easter egg.

are guns allowed? if so i'll pitch you an idea on this here thread.

Guns are a no. Think of what time period TMJ is set in, guns make no sense.

weapon: bow of divine light and holy arrows
effect: may blind enemy, holy damage
history: Endie was just 8 when he recieved this bow. The war has just started, and his dad was dying."take this bow, my son. and defend our country with it!" with these last words, Endie took the bow and became a natural with it. He has won many battles alongside his 3 brothers with it, and it has been useful ever since.
looks: a stylish yellow bow. it has sharp curves at the end, and has extreme light eminating from it.
