The Wii does tend to get this image of being a kids' console. Considering the games, that label isn't totally out there, and Nintendo does market the Wii as a "family" console. But like how that is or not, its motion-sensing capabilities were obviously innovative and interesting enough that Sony and Microsoft are trying to bring in those same things, but instead for "hardcore" gamers. Nintendo, on the other hand, being solely a video game company, has always been sort of separate from other companies and so chooses to be different.
Lots of adults love the Wii too, while teens and college kids pretend to ignore it. It's really about the audience you talk to.
How can a Wii and Ds be the best entertainment if they focus on one aspect of it, while PS3 and 360 are multimedia consoles?
Yeah you might not have mario but you will never be able to play Halo, or Drakes Uncharted on a Nintendo system.
Kinect and move really cant be "copies" if they've both been in devolpment before and around the time of the wii's launch.
Im not saying its a bad console but sometimes people may prefer a 360 or PS3 due to the variety.
