New "Private Activity" Option

One question...

isn't this new feature a Paradox? since the "Friend Activity" box was made to see what your friends are doing we, understand that blocking it goes against the real meaning of its existance...?

Well it's kind of the same option on AIM where it can show your offline, so it isn't really a paradox. If anything, it would be contradictory.

It would be a paradox if everyone set their's to private. However, not everyone wants to. I see no problem.

Pie - yeah, today almost none of my friends had it turned on, but apparently, after it was released everyone started to turn it on my friend activities was like [private] [private] [private] [private] [private]

But now almost anyone is using it, just a very few.

hm.. I have mixed feelings about, it does go against but then again, you have the right to keep things private. i like it, but i'm not going to use it

I think it's a reasonable addition, especially for Admins. I'd never use it, would miss out on an opportunity to tell 'em to bug off, & quit stalking.[Scare 'em straight]

This new feature makes sense, and can deter "stalking" by users who friend people just to find out what they're doing (one-sided friend-adding).

Limxzero - Yeah...but people should look who they are Adding back On the friendlist, i usually don't add people without Proper communication before, I am kinda like "i don't care" and add everyone, but not like go Adding Everyone on SDK Without even taking to him/her

You guys say you don't like it because you can't see if your friends are in chatrooms. Dont you think the reason your friends have it set to private is so they can go to chats without people following them? Maybe they don't want their friends to see what they are doing at the moment. Have you ever considered that??
