considering i dont know of any dateing sites that have a minimum age requirment of less then 18...you might've just increased the rape rate.
i did already post here, but in my opinion online dateing is fine, but onnly in sertain cases. people that are serious and CAREFUL should be the only ones to online date, then people won't be raped as much...maybe but we'll never know.

To be quite honest, online dating is hit or miss depending on who it's with. For some, it can be a good experience, going through pitfalls and having your boy/girlfriend there to help. For most, though, it's not recommended.

The distance can be grueling for a lot of people, as humans as a race require intimacy for love to actually spark. Intimacy comes from repeated physical contact as well as psychological influence (speaking and interacting). Without physical contact (i.e. holding hands, hugging and kissing, etc.) it would be extremely difficult to build a lasting bond with the other person.

It's hit or miss, as I said. A lot of people take the internet too seriously in my honest opinion, and online dating is an example of that. But if you want to take the risk, go right ahead. Nobody's stopping you but yourself.

That's what the brain is for. Storing memories within your mind is much more effective, and creates a stronger bond with your significant other.

While photos and saved documents are nice, it's what you don't see that matters the most.

You can grow very close to someone over the internet sometimes, but I don't think you can consider it 'dating.' unless he'll pick you up at yoshi and take you to Mario...

Really, if you're not cybering or planning to meet them I guess you're mature enough to 'date' online.
