This is not the browser problem, its Dsi Problem, Opera they used a few month to make this software, Thats the world Smallest size Browser that we can use. Another browser can't do it

@Mr.Good It's a software issue. That's not up for debate. And I'm not sure what you mean by Opera being the smallest web browser; it is the most popular browser for mobile devices, but there are versions for traditional OS.

@Mr.Good I don't have the means to "check the programming." And I'm not very knowledgeable on the amount of RAM required for Flash. But whether or not it's possible, I think Nintendo chose to use Opera just because it's a very simple browser. Opera is one of the fastest mobile browsers, so if it was made by another company, the browser would likely be worse. Obviously they don't want to make the browser the DSi's focus because they need to make profits on other DSiShop apps. That might be why the DSi browser is so limited (though I feel that the bare-bones features aren't a bad thing). Maybe they didn't want to mess with the smart phone market either. It's fun to guess.

@Rick I think us and Dan have more important thoughts than fonts (Epic rhyme is epic). Right now we can't worry about whether the letters are bigger/slanter. And the way you said it, you made it sound like a big graphic makeover. I'm sure noobs, sppammers, TMJ,credit card frauds, Saviis, and so much more are on the top of Dan's mind. And plus, only Nintendo has the power to change fonts, not Dan himself.

okay you're right. but i think it dsi opera should stay, besides there gonna be a 3DS browser.

Yes, it's getting very annoying. No matter how many times people say the Dsi Browser only supports one font, some people will not understand it. I recommend to STOP asking Hull for to make an italics tag or whatever, because it isn't going to happen.

Nintendo commissioned Opera to make a browser for the Nintendo DSi. They actively worked as a team to squeeze out all the features they could with the handheld's limited RAM and power. Some features that would've been nice were cut. True Type Fonts were cut, so we have a single fontface with a few available sizes. Don't blame Opera or Nintendo since I think they did a great job. Remember how the Internet was when computers only had 16MB of RAM for software? The Nintendo DSi Browser is really a step up. Let's just wait for the Nintendo 3DS to see how much better it is.

it just a kids website. when if these kids don't know what HTML is but they like it cuz of the thing it do to there profile. i think they don't know what HTML is. I'm sure there teens on here that know everything about HTML. I'm almost a grown up and i need to learn about it still.

First off: In order to make a better browser you need more ram.
I don't know if you can do this.. But, add virtual ram. You can do that to a computer. Then develop your own browser and put it up.
Yeah like that would ever happen.

As the PSP browser is better, but has some down points.

You cant add RAM to dsi's, for RAM are memory boards. Unless you count the SD card, theee can be no more RAM added. Hopefully the 3DS holds better promise.
