Video games are a form of art, the most comprehensive of any form. But, it won't be taken seriously by the media and mainstream until it "grows up" apparently.
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
It is art. Going to college about that. haha
People mostly like adult such as parents think is violence of what kids buy these days like anything with "shooting, cussing in it."
Video games are not also art, but educational and health.
ah now i think im boerd with this. super smash bros brawl i think has art in it. but i dont understand why people hate them and dont think of them as art.
Take Final Fantasy 13 for example, you have the stunning scenery of the areas you travesrse, the immense detail put into each character's back story and how they are all semi-connected, then you have the mythology of the game involving the Fal'cie and L'cie and the interconnections between ff13 and ff13 versus along with ff13 type-0, you pretty much get an education from Final Fantasy (probability, plot, setting, character growth, simple math, strategizing, prioitizing, things you need in life)
